Mainconcept problems

I have been using mainconcept for the last 2 years with no problems but for some reason its been playing up over the last few weeks, I have tried to encode series 2 of married with children but the audio is MP3 & mainconcept does not recognise it & if i try & encode a video with AC3 audio all i get is hissing, I really dont know what is going on, I have got the latest version of mainconcept 1.05.

Any help would be great as i have a few files i want to convert ASAP.

Installed any video software since your last successful encode? Installed any codec packs or anything like that? If so, try removing them - if it was Super this can be quite difficult - if not, perhaps you should contact Mainconcept directly, or use their forums.

I had installed a program a workmate asked me to look at, It was for converting video files to 3gp files & that is were the problem started, I have uninstalled the program removed all codec packs & all codec's then tried to re-install the audio & video codec's but nothing i do seems to work, If i try & use any mpeg encoding program it does not work, The programs will not recognise mp3 audio in avi files & if i try & encode a avi which has ac3 audio it just encodes with a loud hiss, Im really starting to get annoyed & really need some help before i throw this stupid thing out the window & go & buy a MAC ( well ok its not that bad yet but it is getting there ).

Please HELP...... :angry:
