MediaCoder now supports producing both PSP and PMP MOD files with x264. Instead of depending on AVISynth like most GUIs do, MediaCoder retrieves yv12 data from MPlayer via a pipe and feed x264 via stdin. This makes it fully standalone (no any DirectShow filters or splitters needed). Besides encoding, MediaCoder generates thumbnail and can automatically transfer encoded files to PSP.

It's a little clumsy in the way that it pops open so many windows. Any chance you could reduce that a bit?
Also, if I want to encode a 4:3 video at full resolution of the PSP I see no way to preview it properly. It gets stretched to 16:9.

Actually all functions provided can be done in the main interface. The popped up window are extensions for devices. MediaCoder is a universal transcoder instead of dedicated transcoder for PSP.
In PSP window, if you choose resolution of 4:3 (like 320x240), the preview won't be stretched.

anyways...Are thumbnails actually supported for videos (in the video folder or original folder method).
i attempted to get it working but it never showed, or was thumbnail support added in one of the latest firmwares.
The thumbnail doesn't work for PMP MOD. It was tested working at least for 1.5 and 3.10OE firmwares.

Yes, I know that but it won't use the full vertical resolution of the PSP.
