Encoding With VDubMod

ok i have downloaded a file off of BitTorrent
I open check the video thru MediaInfo & GSpot
& the file turned out to be an asf/wmv/wma format (even tho its consider as an AVI format)
is there any way to re-encode this?

also i have another file when i try to remux it thru MKVMerge
it shows the audio is unsupported & unable to remux
so i open it thru MediaInfo & it's a WMA format

So is there any way to re-encode the file thru VDubMod?
I was able to extract the audio file but I can't extract the video file b/c when i extract the video file alone it came with the audio included?
