hi
Recently I noticed a sync problem in all my encoded files and it looks like I have to make a delay of -130 ms to make them exactly like the original files.

the problem is from using the NDAAC-HEPS profile in MeGUI. It looks like low bitrate encoding using SBR & PS makes a static delay in all the files i have encoded.

I tried using deferent input (wave- mp3 - mp2 - AC3) and deferent encoders like belight and it's still the same.
What surprised me is that all the encoded files has the same delay but when i used other profiles that dosent have HE-PS the sync was good

Any ideas???

thanks in advance

Wow. no replies. That blows. I have a similar issue but have not resolved it. Did you ever? Sounds like it could have been a codec issue.

The Nero encoder used with MeGUI works fine, don't introduce any delay with NDAAC-HEPS (tested) profile or others.

Seems a decoder issue. Check your player/decoder.

@rc71

I think the problem was from using AVISource at that time plus the old Nero encoder had some problems too but its now fixed with the new encoders (Audio / Video).

My advice, update your encoders, codecs, and use quality releases not some corrupted videos from some John Doe.

... the old Nero encoder had some problems too ...
What problems?
The Nero encoder used with MeGUI is the last version.

At that time I think it did have problems.
