I was reading about the server issues.
There's nothing I can do to help, but it made me wonder if the internet archive was caching doom9, so at least something would remain available for reading when the site goes down for a while, or if it disappears forever.
It seems the doom9 robots.txt prevents access to doom9 by the internet archive. It seems that, up until September last year, snapshots were regularly taken, but nothing since then.
All the forum snapshots are accessible, but the main site snapshots aren't.
Is there any chance doom9 could allow the internet archive to take a snapshot of the site? I realise you might want to reduce traffic and keep all robots out, but it would be a shame to lose so much information. If all the AVIsynth stuff vanished, I'd be lost!
Cheers,
David.
