Error on created DGIndex d2v file while using Gordian Knot

I Am getting this error while i am trying to open the .d2v file created with DGINDEX i first used version 1.4.8 and then 1.4.9 both don't work

The source file was an mpeg 2 file is that the reason ?
Please help me !!

You have to use the version of DGIndex that ships with GK, IIRC. It could be that I do not RC. Maybe I shouldn't even have answered. Never mind. Sorry.

Still, I'm pretty sure that DGIndex supports MPEG2. It did the last time I tried it. YMMV.

Yah it does support because i was using DGindex which came with MEGUI and the d2v file created worked like a charm

And I used the same DGIndex(which came with MEGUI) to create this d2v

I am a lil new to GK :confused:

The GK comes with an outdated DGIndex /DGmpgdec 1.43, which had worked fine for me for a long time. If you use the GK, and your project file was generated by DGIndex shipped with MeGUI (most probably some 1.49beta or 1.48 final), then you will always receive an error, since there's no backward compatibility between the latest and the older project files (!GK utilizes the version in its install directory, which is the above mentioned 1.43, and can't understand a file generated by a newer one!).

I've recently tried 1.49 beta7 and 1.49 beta14 with GK, and never had any problems. So you've got to clean the DGIndex subdirectory in the GK's installation folder and unpack the newer version there, or the one that was shipped with MeGUI to stay compatible. The version used to generate your project and the version used to read it must be the same. Easy, isn't it? ;)
