I have got sample move HDDVDRiP_720p_DTS_x264.mvk

ViDEO.CODEC...: x264
FRAMERATE.....: 23.976
BiTRATE.......: 5210 kbps
RESOLUTiON....: 1280x544 (cropped)
AUDiO.........: English DTS-ES 1536kbps
SOURCE........: HD DVD
SUBTiTLES.....: Swedish, English .srt

I have got install:
Haali Media Splitter for mkv
ffdshow-rev960_20070223_clsid for h264

When I play this file in Subedit I have got 25fps not 23.973 but the move is played ok:

The field is purely informational in both DShow and Matroska, and is not used for playback. Its value can be incorrect or even absent in Matroska files. In that case default 25fps or no fps at all are reported depending on the setting in splitter properties.
