So I'm looking to split off sections from AVI files but several are returning the variable bitrate error which skews the audio so it doesn't match during playback of the file.
I'd looked around on this problem before and had found a solution that I think worked for me and the stuff I'm trying to do. It required using Virtual Dubs hex editor to change a value which settled VD and appeared to create good playback.
My main problem for the moment is I can't seem to find that solution online anymore and I've forgotten what values I need to edit.
Does anyone have any ideas on where to look or what I need to edit within the hex editor?
