how to begin at 2nd pass?

well as this isnt the first time my computer screwed up during second pass i wanna know how to start the 2nd pass manually.

how does that work?

set up as for the first pass, then in the encoder select second pass only, upon which you'll be presented the options to select stats&ecf file(divx3) / logfile(divx4).. select that.. select your audio and start encoding as usual

well i can choose the second pass,
bbut i have a problem with the log file. which one exactly (using divx4)?

either gknot opens virtual dub and says invalid log file, or gknot opens nothing but saying (in encoder register) trying to open log file... but nothing happens =((

The logfile is by default 'divx.log', that is, if you didn't
give it an another name. Try looking for really big textfiles that perhaps have the name of your movie?
And there's a thread about gknot 0.22 not being able to open the logfile.
