avisynth refuses to install;

"you need administrators rights to install avisynth!
(Could not write to registry HKLM)

any clues? (iam admin)

solution was to boot in safe mode,
then find .avs entry in regedit and play around with permissions for a while before i could actually delete the entry..., after that avisynth 2.5.7 installed fine.
