So have there been any recent tests on which demuxer to use for the common formats (Mp4/avc, MKV (ok, only Haali), ATSC HDTV TS, xvid/ac3/dts). Everyone is arguing over which MPEG4 decoder is better but alot can be said of compatibility/speed of the demuxers...
So we have as contenders....
Nero 7
Elecard 4.5
Cyberlink
Haali......
The problem wth the Haali for all streams (even the newest version) is that it breaks so many things (nero recode for example, procoder etc).
Still, performace and low overhead are a priority....
