Getting Wrong Audio When Backing up with Backupbluray

Having a problem using backupbluray . When i back it up im not getting english for the audio . It backs up the other audio on the disk . These are US version disks . I managed to back up The omen 666, Transporter 2 and Bikini Destinations Triple Fantasy . Wondering how you go about to make sure it backs up the right audio or if any one has come across this problem . Thanks

Hi!

Although I'm not personally familiar with "Backupbluray", I'd ask you the following:

1) Did you rip the ENTIRE disc, without intentionally eliminating any audiostreams?

2) If so, while playing your backup copy, have you tried selecting different audiostreams from the menu (or via the remote, if applicable)?

and use powerdvd 7.2 you should be ok. Make sure not to just play the m2ts file but instead use pdvd 7.2 to open the folder

Well used Backupbluray and it only rips the M2TS files . I tried to change audio but no options come up allowing you too. And i did go by the guide to back it up. 2 of the disks did this and the other one was ok so im really not sure.

make sure you do step 12 in the guide to make the BDMV folder, so when you open up pdvd 7.2 and open from hard drive, choose that folder, i had the same problem with flyboys when i played the m2ts file directly, it played in french, but when i created the bdmv folder, you get the menu and everything and you can select the audio

if you are going to use the .ts direct you'd need to remux with proper audio track

The audio is built into the video stream so it will always bring in all the audio. The problem lies with playing it back. To be able to play back the main audio track you usually have to have the menu structure so you can play it back in powerdvd. The reason for this is that the main audio track is usually in a dts or hi-def format that only powerdvd or windvd recognise thru the menu structure, so if you just try to play it back as a file or in media player etc it just picks up ion the standard ac3 tracks and not the special hidef audio tracks

I put the original BDMV subfolder inside without stream. Then I put the decrypted files inside the stream folder. I saved the image file in my harddrive then I open the PowerDVD 7.2 and the folder but the error box says my graphic isn't compatible. I run the BD Advisor, so the requirement I need is the graphic card, processor, bluray drive and HDCP Monitor. I tried AnyDVD HD with BluRay support but no luck.

The decrypted files should have HDCP requirements removed, so either they haven't been decrypted properly or your graphic card really isn't compatible.

i have the exact same issue, i don't have an hdcp card, but shouldn't need it with encryption removed, files play fine with vlc...just NOT within the bluray structure...gotta thank the conglomerates for this fine hdcp...works wonderfully

How could you open the folder with PowerDVD ?

It's all grayed out so it's not possible to open it.
