is there a tool that will extract info about avc encoded file like gspot does this for asp? (used quantization, level, frames statistic etc)

Elecard Streameye, and ffdshow (via osd output) are the only ones I know of, and neither is particularly good at it.

There's mkvinfo GUI. But you need to install MKVtoolnix in order to use this.
Also, it works only for .mkv files.

for reading the bitstream flags out i use h264_parse from mpeg4ip

ffdshow and mkvinfo gives me only basic information about encoded file as a whole
whole mpeg4ip pack will be more helpful, streameye is also good but "a bit" too expensive (will it be legal to instal trial on virtual machine and recover os from snapshot every 3 weeks? i need clean os on vm anyway)
