Hi there,

A friend of mine has been on a TV show and provided me the DVD with the show so that I could cut it and put in on YouTube...

I've started to rip the DVD with DVDDecrypter and convert it to XviD with AutoGK (already in the 320px width recommended by YouTube).

After I used VirtualDud to set the start and end of the TV show part that is important to upload to you tube and saved the AVI.

Unfortunately this new AVI has 10 minutes and 39 seconds and YouTube only allows 10 minutes max.

Is there a way to make a pitch change on both audio and video in order to change the duration to exactly 10 minutes without losing any content? (off course there would/could be a "goofy" effect on the voice, but I think that only reducing 39 seconds on a 10 minutes video will not be noticeable)

Extract the audio and convert it with a program that can shorten the duration. There are programs that can do this without changing the pitch. Open the video with VirtualDubMod, add the audio usiing the Streams > Stream list, then click Video > Frame rate and select "Change framerate so audio and video durations match" and save with direct stream copy.
