Hi there
I have a little Problem with my players.
Ok the Problem:
When I play a file in a random player the picture is darker than normal.
Ok I started to pause the playing file and than I open the file in another Player. The picture I get than (playing the file in the new player/window while the other is pauseing) is like it should be (not dark).

First I thought I had an currupted file but its the same for all my files(divx/xvid).
Itīs also no Problem with the player cause i can start with every of these players.

Well I hope I was able to explain my Problem in total and that you guys can help me.

ThX and bye

Thorsten

Hi!

Usually, when you open two instances of a player, the first one uses video acceleration, but the second one doesn't...

Maybe you need to adjust your monitor's brightness and contrast. That is, it's currently set too dark.

Can you notice an increase in brightness on the following gif ?
(0,0,0 is complete black 255,255,255 is max white)

Hi there,
yeah I can see an increase of brightness on that gif. I donīt think that the monitor is wrong adjusted cause one window is darker and every following (when the first is paused) is normal..

Thx and bye

Have you looked at your video card settings? Try to see if using VLC (http://www.videolan.org/) you have the same problem.
