Hi world,

yesterday, I about to launch an x264 encode in meGUI, and I have seen in setup panel that there is a mode called "Constant quality" ... I don't know it ...

In my mind, "CRF" is another name for "Constant Quantizer", I'm right ? ... so what is the "AKA" for "Constant quality" please ?! ( with that, I will be able to search information by myself )

What are the main difference between "Constant quality" and "Constant Quantizer" ( today I use it with 18 or 20 ... )

And also important : in case of Constant quality, what value must be used IRL ?! ... about 20 like for "Constant quantizer" ?

thanks
Seb.
