Hi. If you look at any technology related web-site today, you are definitely going to see a reference to Doom9.org, thanks to the fact that the people who broke AACS reported it here first...
I am now concerned about people sueing Doom9.org for breaking DRM that took years to develop. How can we help to ensure that this site weathers the storm and stays online?

Exactly why such things should not be talked about!!
I dont see the staff being in trouble,THEY DIDNT DO IT,some members were discussing it.....
People need to learn to keep stuff to themselves....

People need to learn to keep stuff to themselves....It was a collaborative effort, even if the difficult part was done by few people. No public discussion could mean no breakthrough, or a much more delayed one.

@4Dude,
Perhaps you should read the forum rules once more (rule 11 in particular), since this is not the first time you post like this.

May I also remind posters that policy on this board is made by Doom9 and reflected in the forum rules.
Should they wish to make suggestions or disagree with his policies, they should PM him and not start threads like this (this is not the first of these threads on this very subject and if posters had bothered to actually observe the forum rules (rule 1a), they would have found sufficient explanations about this very issue).
Here's a link for the lazy (in this very subforum) - http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=936406#post936406
