i often buy or trade second hand dvds - as you can imagine, they aren't always in mint condition.
i wondered if there is a tool for verifying a dvd, i.e. checking for broken frames, errors in soundstreams etc? (the way i understand it, ac3 and mpeg2 both have checksums). do you know any?
DVD-lab has a DVD verifier. but the way i see it, it only operates on sector level...
ps: i'm not shure if this is the correct forum, but not knowing where to post most likely qualifies myself as a newbie anyway :P
