Microsoft has announced ANOTHER DRM scheme, this time licensing the technology to Telef ónica, O2, Verizon Wireless, Bouygues Telecom, and Cingular Wireless, now the new AT&T. This new one is fully backwards compatible with Windows Media DRM 10. It seems Microsoft is trying to prove Apple wrong and create a brand-agnostic means of content control.
