AutoGK is truly an awesome piece of software. However, it would be twice as useful to me (and hopefully lots of other users) if it just had two more features:
1 - Add option to specify output video bitrate
2 - Add option under output resolution to match input resolution
At the moment I have to use a bitrate > size calculator to get the target size from the video length before I can convert. I tend to encode all video at the same bitrate, as size is not much of a concern when writing to DVDs. The "target quality" option isn't all that useful for storing videos to be watched, as it gives no guarantee of maximum bitrate (therefore there's a good chance the bitrate might spike too high for certain devices). That setting is meant for video that's to be edited and re-encoded before final production.
Those settings will also slightly speed up ripping, as no compressibility test will be required and the video does not need to be resized.
Another thing I picked up: When ripping in ifo mode and ripping, say, program chain 3 in the ifo, all the preceding PGCs are also ripped...
