NetEncoder 0.9 now supports XviD

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you guys and gals know that NetEncoder 0.9 has been successfully tested to transcode a XviD movie into WMV format.

Normally, NetEncoder is used to convert prerecorded M-JPEG AVI files into Windows Media format.

But now we are begining to utilize DirectShow filters such as ffdshow to be able to accept other file formats.

NetEncoder uses DirectShow and Windows Media Encoder 9 technology. ffdshow filters were used for the above mentioned XviD transcoding test.

NetEncoder is a software tool that speeds up video compression by dividing and distributing the encoding task among multiple networked computers.

Sounds great, although not for my limited uses. ;)
Hope you've used the right iDCT with ffdshow while transcoding XviD, since libmpeg2 (which used to be the default one) is buggy, and the whole issue was saved just a few days ago (auto defaults now to XviD MMX iDCT, which is the correct one).
