I have a source of a 1024x768 h264 mkv file I would want to have converted to divx so my kiss dp-600 player can play it.
But problems keeps popping up of the resulted divx encode such as:
stuttering, like as the playback isn't smooth.
jumping picture, like the pixels or fields in it flashes.
I have tried converting the clip using both SUPER (bitrate also keeps locking at around 2500 in SUPER and wont go higher no matter what I choose in it) and Dr. DivX.
I have originally done the encoding of the clip using x264 and with the slow preset profile.
Anyone have any ideas how to proceed? :o
I've also tried opening it in VirtualDubMod, but it only came up a window with alot of error messages about ms and not having vfw codecs and stuff.
UPDATE:
I think I solved it myself.
I tried an encode to XviD in SUPER and that got rid of the problem :)
That only leaves an XviD to DivX encode after that due to some divx standalone error options SUPER always uses in high quality mode :o
