Does anyone know how I can convert a HD-DVD to an Divx HD-file?

I have already ripped the HD-DVD to the harddrive, but can't find anything about what the next step should be...

In other words: I can only watch HD-DVDs on my computer (I have only one film as of yet). I have a media player connected to the HD-TV, and want to watch this film on the TV. My media player can play Divx HD, so I want to convert the film to Divx HD.

And I can't see how any of the encoders I have can accept the HD-DVD files...

Duh,
You can use DivX Converter6.2xx in DivX 6.51 packet. Just rip your HD DVD into MPEG2 first using ripper software for HDDVD, then convert it with DivX Converter in HD mode (1280x720), not sure why DivX not provide 1080p mode in their converter yet.

Hmmm... I've demuxed the EVO's ready to re-encode to DivX, however, the output files (.mpv) won't open in Virtualdub or DivX Convertor. I receive a "unsupported file format" error. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

you can open .mpv in virtualdub.

before, you must open it with graphedit, and choose many filters like sonic hddemuxer and sonic cinemaster video decoder 4.1

it works for me but i have a problem : the movie's time is not correct. The movie is during 1H50min and in virtualdub 105h... so impossible to encode.

A solution to resolve that

I had the same problem then changed the output formats in demuxer to dts, vc1, and sup and then loaded the .avs file in to divx converter and that worked.
