1.1.0 v 1.1.1 v 1.1.2

Hey folks,

I'm getting some odd behaviour between the 3 different XVid releases when playing on a Showcenter 1000. A load of stuff I'd encoded recently just wouldn't play, so it was time for an experiment...

I took an mpeg and converted the first 10 seconds or so in VirtualDubMod single pass with no changes to the default Xvid settings.
I did this with all three versions of Xvid and tried to play the result on the ShowCenter.

With 1.1.0 (Celtic) it works fine (this is what I've always encoded with)

With 1.1.1 (Celtic) I get sound but no picture.

With 1.1.2 (Koepi/Celtic) I get "unknown video codec"

Anyone got a clue what's wrong?

I have no clues with such lack of informations.

Have you tried the Xvid 1.2 cvs 2006/12/20 ?
