SAR and DAR Question.

my storage aspect ratio is correct but the PAR and DAR look off.

is something wrong there? I checked some other xvids i have made and they have PARs of 1.000 and the DAR is the same as the SAR.

Could this be because i recently changed the PAR and DAR settings in Xvid's encode options?

DAR = SAR * PAR

There's no other chance to get a different Pixel Aspect Ratio than the default 1.00 (square pixels), than to change it manually in the codec's settings, AFAIK.

I checked my XViD encode settings and i had the PAR set to 16:9 NTSC and not Square. I think that was my problem.
