audio/video out of synch in .avi xvid AC3 file

Hi everyone,

Okay...I have a 2-disc movie set. Each DVD came with 2PGCs...why, I have no idea. Of course AGK couldn't convert a DVD folder with 2PGCs, as it takes only one...therefore, I used StaxRip...worked wonderfully. I did this for each disc.

Next I used SubRip to make subtitle files for each disc...they're great.

Now here's the problem. Each disc's 2nd PGC referred to the last 30minutes or so of each 2-hour disc. After converting the DVD to .avi format...and playing in VLC with subtitles running...I noticed that in the last 30minutes of each file...the audio/video is off....it's like watching an old bruce lee film...people speak at different times of people's lips moving...haha

So what software do I need that fixes ONLY the last 30 minutes or so of each .avi file? Thanks in advance for your help. - Farooq

oh yes...this may not matter...but subtitles are in synch with the scenes/people in each .avi file...now after the audio/video is fixed...the subtitles should still stay in place at their proper times...correct?

now i need to find a cutter for my .avi files. :) do you recommend a good cutter...or should I do it with StaxRip or GK? (by the way i hate GK...lol)
