I have a quick question about the forum rules, who can I PM about it? It's a lot easier to PM about the question than post here.
Thanks:D

If it is a general question, PM the moderator(s) of the forum where the question came up, or PM Doom9.
If it is a question about a Moderator's decision, you can also PM the moderator.

Ok, what if it's a question about a closed thread. A thread that was closed without warning and I don't know the mod that closed it? Do I pick any mod of the forum board to PM?

That would be one possibility. If there are multiple mods, it might be best to PM them all, or, send a PM to Doom9.

Hi,
Jggimi, as a moderator, already answered but as your question is posted in the suggestions and help section, I would like to highlight some important points.
Have you recently (since the 6th) viewed your profile? if not go to "userCP" first left item on the top blue blindfold or leftclick on the username in one of your post then leftclick on "view profile".
Then you may want to review the sanctions page http://forum.doom9.org/sanctions.htm particularly the parts related to:
rules 4 or 6 ...
3 strikes ...
If you wish to contest ...
Also I think it is not necessary to point out that a PM to a MOD or the owner of the board regarding your status should be factual/polite/civil etc...
Good luck and use patience.

Ah, I didn't know about that, thanks. I had another thread that got locked and I just wanted to know why. When I PMed the mod that locked the first thread, he replied me in all caps. And said I can repost about the problem, which was weird since it already got locked the first time, why am I allowed to repost when it got locked in the first place...? That part was really confusing.

I had another thread that got locked and I just wanted to know why. Because it was a repost of a previous closed thread (minus the admission that you downloaded the file). Please take further discussion of this matter to PM.

Do I PM avih and neuron2? I already PMed avih, should I PM neuron2 too?

There's no need for PMs. You can't circumvent the rules by posting the same topic again minus the information that got you a strike in the first place. Case closed.
