you can que up both the jobs... run individually whenever u want ... but dont rip any other video in between this two passes.

It is possible - you've got to que 1st pas for the 1st video, then the 2nd pass, and repeat the whole process with the following clips. XviD does sort of auto-naming of stats' files, so providing the names of your encodes differ slightly everything should be fine.

Thank you, but I seem to be doing it wrong, it keeps using the stats of the last 1stpassed video, how do I ensure that each video is with it's own 1stpass stats at the moment of the 2nd pass in virtual dub?

You'll find the stats file name in the vfw window (the second "more..." button), you'd have to manually change and track the files that way. In xvid_encraw, you just have to specify a stats file name every time. You might want to go with MeGUI instead, which can autoname stats files, and you can queue up a bunch of jobs and reorder them so that the second passes all come after the firsts, if you need that.

In the encoder settings, the default setting for the 2-pass/1st-pass concerning the path to the .pass file is:
"\video.pass"
Then, the codec creates the .pass file at the root of the drive where the .avi file is created.

By changing this setting with:
".\video.pass"
this file should be created in the same directory as the created .avi.

One advice though: test it before launching a *long* second pass encoding...
