Apple just warned the Windows iPod users to not upgrade to Vista coz there could be major problems, for example, ejecting an iPod from a computer using Vista's "safely remove hardware" feature could corrupt the contents of the iPod, the company claimed. Other known problems can include the inability to play music purchased from the iTunes Store, to change iPod settings or to synchronize contacts and calendars with the iPod...

Yeah not much people will use,
As Vista too much source hungry, perhaps next Core2 Quad can handle Vista much better than current processor and memory in the market. It also make encoding too slow. So no use for ipod user at the moment. Plus there are some bugs that still cannot solve yet. I don't see any reason yet to upgrade.
