Do I need Nero to burn my dvds when using these various programs AutoGK, DVDDecrpyter, DVDShrink, ImgBurn, DVDFab, RipIt4Me, etc.? I think some of them may work in conjuction with Roxio, right?

I don't have access to Nero (I thought I did), but instead I have Easy Media Creator 7. Will that work with these programs just the same to burn dvds, etc.? (There's also something on my laptop that came with it called Sonic.)

I believe I use ImgBurn to actually burn dual-layer dvds, right? Or is that using another program in conjunction?

Will I be okay just having Easy Media Creator 7 (and maybe this Sonic program that's already on there)?

Thanks!

Hi!

"IMGBurn" can be used for ALL of your video DVD burning, whether double-layer or single-layer, .ISO image file or DVD "package" (.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs)...

Well, that's interesting!

Will installing that Easy Media Creator 7 conflict with anything (or impede ImgBurn's ability to burn, etc.)? I'd like to use it to convert cds to mp3s and burn music cds, etc.

Sorry. I meant "Nero"... I edited the first post to reflect it. Thanks.

So, wash, rinse, repeat...

Do I need Nero for any of those programs?

Will using Easy Media Creator conflict with any of them?

Thanks!

Between this and your other earlier thread, you've created the impression that you haven't yet, and are unwilling to, try anything - before getting "a million" opinions.

I'd suggest you "dip your toe in the water" and try using some of the software you've already spoken about.

If you have specific problems related to one specific program or one specific thing you've tried to do, then post about that...
