CCE crashes while encoding

Hello.

I've read the guide "The Big 3" (DoItFast4U, DoCCE4U & ReAuthorist) and after some hassle I've managed to come as far as the encoding process. However, After DC4U has launched CCE (I use 2.66.01.07 since the newer versions dosnt seem to work with DC4U at all) it encodes parts of the first pass (the .vaf) and then freezes and I get the infamous Windows XP's error message as you can see on the image below:

As you can see I've tried to encode Saw 1 and my computer has always been relativly stabile (I read question 8 about CCE crash on unstabile computers in the CCE FAQ sticky thread), but I'll post some info about the computer I'm encoding on. Maybe that'll shed a light on my issue.

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 1 (2600.xpsp2.050301-1526)
Language: Norwegian
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 1022MB RAM

My source is a virtual drive, so it cant be a dvd-rom issue.
I'd really appreciate any help.

I use DVD Rebuilder in the free version because I can't use any of the programs you mentioned without CCE locking up on me. My PC freezes and I get no error messages. I have a suggestion. Try to run CCE in RealTime mode on the PC. I have an older PC that used to freeze when I used CCE and this fix works for it all the time. Unfortunately, this fix did not work for me on a new PC when I tried to use the programs you listed. To change CCE to RealTime mode, after it starts go to the Task Manager and right click the CCE executable (something like ccestp.exe) and set it to RealTime.

I just gave up and started using DVD Rebuilder because at least if CCE froze on me while using it, I can reboot the PC and restart DVD Rebuilder at the spot where it froze. I am convinced that the freeze is caused by my CPU overheating, so you might try to run your encodes at night - that often helps me.

I tried to run CCE in RealTime mode, but this didnt work.
I've been using DVD-ReBuilder a couple of times as well, but it dosnt give me enough control and the results I want so I figured I'd try "The Big 3".
This error is rather frustrating I must say :( I've tried anything I can think of and it still dosnt work.

docce4u has been replaced with batchccews. it responds better to newer cce versions. see big3 forum
