Gordian Knot problem

When I'm about to start encoding my film in gordian knot I can't choose to encode it in single mode.
I need to encode it two times...
Is there a purpose to do it in Both mode?
I think its a bit much to do it two times?
Whats my problem?
And what do I need to do to correct this?

the purpose of doing a two pass encode is to increase the quality of the final product.

i don't know that you can do a one-pass encode simply in GKnot. you might have better luck using VirtualDub if you want to do just a single-pass encode.

i'm not sure you understand 2pass encoding and SBC.
perhaps you should reread doom9's guides..
