When I'm about to start encoding my film in gordian knot I can't choose to encode it in single mode.
I need to encode it two times...
Is there a purpose to do it in Both mode?
I think its a bit much to do it two times?
Whats my problem?
And what do I need to do to correct this?

... enoding the movie 2 times will improve picture quality a lot.

1st pass : Encoder will collect information about every single frame of the movie
2nd pass : final encode, using information from 1st pass

This helps to reduce file size by 10 - 30% compared to 1 Pass, with same picture quality .... or vice versa, better picture quality at same file size ...

Try just clicking save instead of save and encode. Then open the .avs file in Nan Dub or V Dub depending on which DivX codec you are using. Then choose one pass in Compression menu in V Dub (DivX 4.x)or Save avi in Nan Dub (DivX 3.x)
