meGUI - deinterlacing options

When encoding mpg files my pvr-250 generates I usually do the auto-detect for deinterlacing which as you know auto populates the source type, field order and deinterlace options. Can someone point me to a good resource for learning about all the deinterlacing options available to me in meGUI?

There are two basic types of deinterlacing: bobbing and weaving. Most newer deinterlacers use a hybrid approach of these two though.
The best place to read about deinterlacing is in the particular avisynth plugin readmes, the avisynth documentation, and on random websites online. Just look around and read all you can :)
