Convert avi to mpv?

Hi,

How do you convert an avi (say xvid) to mpv?


Question 2 :)

I have Fraps 2.5 demo, but I don't know how to use it.
I press F9 to record but nothing happens. I want to
record what I do on screen (to make windows
tutorial for example).

Can anyone help?

Fraps does not record the desktop. It only records DirectX-rendered games or video.

I've seen people record their desktop stuff... how do they do that?
