hi guys ,
i try put subtitles to an .avi file with vdubmod, but the audio file is mp3 vbr or ac3 and i can not makeit...for this i try use nandub, but in 'video' window is missing the 'compression'...i found only 'filters' , 'frame rate' , 'color depth' , 'SBC options' and 'select range'...i must install more plug-in or first demux the sound file and mux after the job on the rezulted .avi?(if this method work, the sound will be ok or is possible have delay or be forward?)...another question is how i can manage the size for output .avi?( from 'go to the last frame'?)...thanks

Nandub's menu commands is SBC Options___SBC Setting, but I too can't use it.
What you might do is encoding the video only with any other VirtualDub type (the original VirtualDub, VDubMod or VDubMPEG-2), which use the usual Video__Compression command.
You'll create a 'mute' AVI.

Then, you'll create the final AVI joining, with Nandub, the video stream you just made with that MP3 VBR audio stream you had...

Could it work?

VirtualDubMod will work with VBR MP3 - just click "No" to the prompt you receive when it imports the audio.

Good to know! Every time I received that prompt, I never understood what should I do!
(and therefore I sticked to NanDub, which didn't post any warning).
