How to choose different audio languages?

Hi all,
My question is there:
I've backup all my HD-dvd.
I think all the materials are there but my powerDVD 6.5 can't playback some of them...
it seems there is a solution here to playback all hddvd:

Now i'm looknig for a solution about using other language like german or french or using subtitles.
Does anybody success playback in different language?
How can i do that?

when you edit the XPL, just take out the languages you dont want and leave in the languages you want.

Before the 'backup purists' jump down my neck, maybe you should just put a "!" before the languages you dont want, so you can take them out later when there is a proper fix to the IME situation, as opposed to our 'unpure' workaround.

And you're right, i'll never remove any line if it's possible just putting them in commentary it's quite better.

Hi there,
I have one more question, i have backup my King Kong. I can play it on my laptop, but only in englisch. Must i edit all 17 xpl files or only one and in witch part of the file. Can anybody help me there please?

There is only one XPL file.
Read the 'Backup HD DVD and IME' thread.

I read all the sites, but I do not find what I must do exactley. I tried something but it does not work. Its alwas only in englisch.:(

No, there are 17 XPL files in the European version of King Kong ... and this version does not have IME.

try the tool evodemux, choose the evo you want, and rebuilt it with the selected track you want... easy :)

in king kong there's for every language one xpl file.
try to find out what's the xpl file in your language is (german, french, english, spanish..) and then delete all audio files in the xpl file that you don't want.
