Simple question. How do you make a clip interlaced with AviSynth? My goal ultimately is DVD-Video, the source was captured from VHS, and I've cleaned it up so far, but it's YUY2 interleaved, and I either want to keep it progressive or interlaced. Suggestions on that?

If you have field-separated video, you can combine the fields into interlaced frames by calling Weave().
Conversely, if you have interlaced frames, you can separate them into separate fields by using SeparateFields().

I don't think interleaved means the same as interlaced here. The cleaning methods depend on whether your source is progressive or interlaced so you might want to check which one it is. If you can't tell it yourself, post a short sample and someone will check it out.
Then you just need to encode it to MPEG2 as interlaced or progressive.
