I ripped the DVD to my hard drive with DVD Decrypter. Then I double-c;icked on the MDS file. Decrypter opened automatically and I selected the burn and verify after option. It seemed to work correctly, but when I try to play the DVD in the computer, or in my home theatre DVD player, nothing happens. When I go back into Decrypter, it says "disc not empty" and "status:incomplete".
Did I just make a coaster?

Hmm probably you tried to burn more data on the dvd than it has capacity. Have you used a dual layer medium? How big is the original DVD?

hi bondfan,
i split your post from the previous thread, as it had very little to do with the original topic.
personally i would also update to ImgBurn (also written by the author of DVD Decrypter) for all dual layer burniing needs - it is being regular updated by Lightning UK and could possibly contain some fixes that eliminates your issues.
cheers

thanks- cmw; i'm using verbatim dvd+r dl discs (well, this is my first attempt).
the iso file is 7.9 gb, and i think daemon tools mounted an image on the virtual drive that is 7.6 gb? the properties tab says this is a udf file?
now, i'm more confused.
and, sorry, jel, i wasn't sure where to post, but it looks like i'm a newbie on dual layer stuff.
i'll try an imgburn update too.:thanks:
