Is there a megui profile for the Zen? Can I use the IPOD profile or do I need to make some changes to it?
On a side note on the search function of this forum. When I seach for zen I get no hits, is it because it is too short of a word?

i assume noone has a Zen. So its up to you to test which settings it supports so a Zen profile can be created

The zen:M uses the following video profiles:
DivX™ 4 & 55, XviD5, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG4-SP, WMV9, Motion-JPEG
And the zen:Vision uses the following video profiles
MPEG1/ 2/4-SP, WMV9, MJPEG, AVI, DivX, XviD
So it will not play IPOD video.
I would recommend that your look at DivX's Dr. DivX tool. Set it to one of the portable profiles and it should work for you.
Also you might want to try AutoGK or AutoMKS in the SAP compatble modes (cntl F9 for AutoGK, set ess mode). Be sure to set your width in these application to width of your display (240 on the M) or your encodes will be much bigger than they need to be.
You have not asked this question, but you will. Before you encode these movies you will need to "rip" your dvd to your hard drive. Use a program called DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me to do this.
