I have some movies backed up on 2 DVDs using DVDFab that I want to reauthor onto 1 DVD. Can anyone point me to any helpfiles that would show me how to do this

Hi!
Use DVD Shrink in "Re-author" mode...

Yes I've done that - DVD Shrink alters the numbering of the second DVD's VOBs so that there isn't a clash, but it doesn't integrate the files back into a homogenous whole. Do I need to use Pgcedit to do this? Has anyone done this before, or are there any helpfiles or threads that you can point me to?

You are correct in that DVD Shrink creates two separate Titles.
If you wish to create ONE Title, you can simply use (commercial software) the "seamless" "Join" function of DVD2One...

DVD Fab keeps the chapters of the original disc while splitting with the cells on the other disc as a pic to tell the user to flip disc. You can extract the cells on disc 2 to vobs with VobBlanker and replace the cells on disc 1 with it. After replacing you also need to open it in PgcEdit to edit the cells properties. I have a guide on that on my site and if you can read Chinese then free feel to have a visit.
