Hi all,

I will be recording the radio broadcast of the Super Bowl (I live in Indy) on my computer. I use Hi-Q recorder and set MP3 as the output file. At the end of the game, I will have a large (4-5 hours) MP3 file. From there I want to edit out the commercials and archive the resulting file. I've been trying to understand my options but am a bit confused.

I obviously don't want to go through a decoding/editing/encoding process. All I want is to be able to clip out the commercials.

What is the best tool to use? Hopefully free.

TIA

Careful about the "B" word. I've even taken to calling the "B B" electronics store "Preferred Purchase".

But to answer your question, this one cuts without re-encode.
