Hi,
Using DVD2SVCD and it was supposed to create 2 Bin/Cue files as CD_1 and CD_2. But it only created the CD_2 and not the first one.
The log file says, it created both CD_1 and CD_2.

So, how do I re-run and have it re-create CD_1.

(I am new to this and had posted this in the Newbie section but I believe I should have done this here instead. Sorry)

Firstly, I'd upgrade youe D2S ver 1.1.2 b1 to the latest 1.2.3b1 as a lot of bugs/issues have been sorted since your version.

OK, here is the link to Shuq's post in the newbie section: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=121441#post945759

Upgrading is a great idea, but first have a look at vcxbuilder.log and post it here.

Looking at your DVD2SVCD log, check the time and disk space before and after the first image file was supposedly created.

It took only a few seconds and used almost zero space - so something caused VCDXbuild to abort. As Steve says, the logfile from VCDXBuild will probably tell us why. Please copy and paste this into your post (rather than attach it) and let's see what went off.

Something you might like to try is the crash recover feature in the misc tab. Click the recover button, select the project file when prompted and restart from Authoring. If it was just a momentary blip that caused the problem it might work, although I suspect it might run deeper than that.

Hope this helps
Nick

PS for future reference, rather than posting in more than one sub-forum, if you post somewhere and realise there was a more appropriate place, PM a mod and ask them to move it for you :)

CM/Steve/Nick,
I am using 1.2.3B1 (I will update my profile signature..sorry).
Here is the VCXBuilder log:

I am not sure how to do a crash recovery and restart from Authoring. Which file should I select when I envoke the Recover feature ?
Tks in advance and pls let me know what you think ?

The Recover worked like a Charm :) Created both the _1 and _2 Bin/Cue files.
This is quite impressive.
Tks for all the tips. They were very helpful.

Case closed!
