FFDSHOW help

I have enabled keys & remotes but I can press alt + O and ctrl + O all day and nothing happens. OSD will not toggle.. I have tried other commands also like picture properties and it does not work either. I'm at wits end trying to get the keyboard shortcut to work.. Any idea what is wrong with FFDSHOW?

Did you try ctrl+alt+O? Works for me. You have to press both activation keys along with the third to work it.

Something else that messes up keyboard shortcuts is global winamp/foobar shortcuts, they get stolen before being sent to the active app.

Yeah tried that also. To no avail. Tho I was able to get the girder to work with it just fine. But keyboard shortcuts just won't work no matter what I try.

Ok I figured out keyboard shortcuts are working but not OSD. I tried the Grab shortcut and it works perfectly fine. So is their a bug in this version of ffdshow that prevents osd from working from keyboard?

You mean CCCP ffdshow? Well, you can ask them to incorporate whichever patch it was that fixed the OSD shortcut, or you can use ffdshow-tryout with that issue fixed. I might be able to dig into the log and find the applicable patch.

Ok thanks.. I installed newer ffdshow and it's working. Now if I can only figure out how to send the toggle to ffdshow with my remote using the $20 remote control software uICE. uICE works alot nicer in most aspects than Proximis Girder.
