Hi, there,
I'm experiencing a problem I never had before : when trying to preview (with the regular preview option in dvd2svcd), any DVD, the DGindex starts (only visible in the task bar), and then, nearly everything freezes : I can move the mouse pointer but not click, I can launch the task manager but not use it, I can open (not every time) the windows button (keyboard) but nothing more, do the alt-tab combination but it freezes too, in fact, I can launch everything controlled by my "multimedia keyboard" but in vain.
The only way to debug this is a combination of various ctrl-alt-del and win-key : the preview finally appears, everything returns to normal, but problems comes again if I click on the "next" button.
I'm using XP pro, the problem seemed to start when I installed Norton Internet Security 2007 BUT I removed it, nothing changed. As far as I can understand it, DGindex works if launched outside DVD2SVCD, and DVD2SVCD preview works while under "mode sans echec" (don't know the english name for this).
What can I say more... CCE (2.5) has the same problem, so I installed the 2.7 trial version, it generally works fine.
