View Full Version : Help with playing hd-dvd from hd.

I have a full rip of miami vice and I am unable to play it in power dvd 6.5 HD. I plays back seriously choppy. I also have another hd-dvd which is just EVO files and that plays perfect.
I have read that I need to create XML file to play a full backup. Can anyone give me a general overview on playback.

you have to edit the vplst000.xpl which is in your adv_obj folder

but use the search in the forum and you will find it.

This doesn't really relate to the previous question but I didn't want to start a new thread for it.

Anyway, after I rip the movie to my hard drive is there any way to change the audio track. I am using Power DVD 6.5 HD.

you have to edit the vplst000.xpl file, delete ALL languages and subtitles in this file that you don't needed or rebuild the menu with aca_decrypter !

Just out of curiosity, does this remove the ICT if it is ever used?

Why do you need to edit .xpl file ? I think Zotty's and other ACA decrypters / AACS encapsulation removers are working good now, so why destroying original iHD content? Bad for me i don't have any HD-DVD drive to test that decoders.
