Nero's announcement states 'SMP8630 series of secure media processors'.

What the heck does this mean? DRM on the decoder chip? Please tell me this is not so!

The introducion of copy-protection protocols directly within chip-sets has been on the cards for years....

Let's not forget who's the driving force behind "all" these and future copy-protection schemes... media producers, artists and studios!
