I've already have a ATI TVWonder and the 650 Pro.( The 650 is installed on my machine - TVWonder waiting to be installed - for what reson I don't know maybe I'm waiting to ghost my system I guess to do a backup just incase something goes wront -which it will-) I haveing a problem with my 650 set up. The software is so sensitive it'll mess up on me in no time so I want somting that'll with stand me messing around in my custom bulild PC and Pic'n'Pic feature.
Hardware wize I want an TV card that has Dual tuners in it (And I know about the Hauppauge 500 MCE and the Nvida Dual tuner) the problem I have is which one do I choose. Which one will run with the software I choose for it. Cause
Software wize I want a TV viewer that has a pic'n'pic feature, remote control compatable, EPG and DVR or PVR recording feature with time shifting.
There are some other dual tv tuners out there but not as compatible as Hauppauge or Nvida like Cinergy 2400i DT, Vista View, PVR-TV PE210 or the Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT PCI-E.
The only thing about them is that the company is not that well known so I don't want to tak a chance.
You have two choices eaither get a combo of software that will work to geather or get ...
An MCE entertainment system but I just wanna watch tv and record one or two programs (at at the same time if need be.) I just thing one of those thing will take over my whole system and every small clip I dl form the internet it loud that big MCE program and I'm waiting about 2 or 3 min for it to load. Or have it waste HD space with the ablity to laod Digital Pic or music.
The Windows MCE 2005 is nice but it has one problem you can edit the recording in it. On the new one that comes with Vista you can but I don't wanna mess with Vista, not until it get its feet wet with an intro to the mass market. Cause I've heard horror stories abut it.
