PQ improvement?

another question regarding backed up hd-dvds...is there any PQ improvement from using powerdvd 6.5 to 7.1? Or using WinDVD HD?

I just tried 7.1...and this are my findings:
First off, if your using nvidia card (i have 8800 gts) i had to set AA and AF to application pref or off for powerdvd 7.1 to work correctly...otherwise it would only show the top left corner of the movie.
As far as PQ, 7.1 is a vast improvement over 6.5...to me it almost seemed like 6.5 was not outputting at 1080p, everything is so much more crisper looking and colors are a LOT more vibrant.
I don't know if it was just because of my hardware or what, but 7.1 is a lot better PQ than 6.5.
