Here's another strange problem:
I-Author subtitles do not work on my Cyberhome 212, so support for real SVCD subtitles was my best Christmas gift! Thank you DVD2SVCD!! (I am pathetic, aren't I?)
SVCD subtitles worked perfectly for me on 105b2 (bundle). I installed 105b3(bundle and later repacked), and they stopped!!
I had time on my hands, 2 PCs to play with and a 42mins show I needed and did some stupid things:
I renamed the (default) DVD2SVCD directory containing the b2 to DVD2SVCDbeta2 and installed the b3 in the DVD2SVCD directory(default).
I run the b3 DVD2SVCD --> no subtitles
I run the b2 DVD2SVCD --> subtitles!!!
Did that about 3 times for each, different VBRs and CBR.
On all occasions the log files are identical. (well, on one case I used Vstrip, on the others smart ripper, but it does not matter, I think)
Call me an idiot, but hasn't the b2 used the supporting programs from the b3 directory??
My problem, is solved, but the solution is ....stupid. Any suggestions?
Plus, when I used to use the "pure" b2, conversion "stalled" when it started BBmpeg and I had to click manually, or close the program and use crash recovery.
Now with the "twisted" solution (or b3), it runs like water....
Oh, and another thing:
Have A Happy Holiday away from the computer!!! :)
